BREATH SESSION

Are you ready to meet your miracle power?

We breathe in, we are born into this world, and we breathe out, we pass out of this world. Life is exactly the time that elapses between our inhalation and exhalation. It is a combination of actions and inactions. We can live for days without food, but we cannot live for more than a few minutes without breath. How we breathe has a huge impact on our physical health, as well as our mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Therefore, knowing what breathing is and what it is not can affect our lives. Learning about our breathing habits will increase our quality of life.

 

To be clear, breathing and respiration are not the same thing. Respiration is an autonomous system that works as a brainstem reflex. Whereas breathing is a learned behavioral habit. It’s similar to how our body learns how to sit in a chair, our hand gestures while speaking, and our tics. Each of us has different living habits as well as different breathing habits. In the breathing session, the Breath Coach analyzes breathing habits of the client, allows them to experience it, and then works to transform this habit into a natural breathing habit.

 

What is Natural Breathing? Natural Breathing is a breathing habit in which the person does not interfere with the autonomously working respiratory system. It would not be correct to say things like diaphragmatic breathing is correct or shallow breathing is healthy. There are situations in life where we will need every kind of breath. Therefore, we can tap into our state of being and take any kind of breath without interfering with respiratory system’s Natural Breathing. A natural breathing habit will enable us to live a better life and bring more energy, joy, health, and balance to our lives.

 

How does the Natural Breathing session take place?

 

Before starting a Natural Breathing session, we set an intention together. It is important what the intention is and how it is expressed and defined. A natural breathing session, where the energy of intention and the power of the breath are combined, can lead us to a healthier, happier and a better-quality life. The words we choose when setting an intention determine what we focus our minds on, so we take care to choose words with high energy and positive connotations. For example, we can intend to 'be at peace', not 'to get rid of stress'. Once we have set our intention, we begin the session with deep and fully conscious connecting breaths through the mouth. We breathe in this way for about 40 minutes. During the session, the Breath Coach analyzes the breath moment by moment, gives the directions that the client needs, breathes with them, gives a demo, and says the necessary affirmations. After the breath work, the person is left to meditate for 5-10 minutes. At the end of the session, the client is given feedback on breathing habits and how these habits can be reflected in life.
